Mountains of tender squash vines were on display at last Saturday’s Fondy Market (they are great sauteed with green garlic!) And that’s the exciting thing about visiting Spring markets each week–as the season progresses, so does the diversity of products you can find at the market.
This week, expect to find more: flower, herb and vegetable plants, rhubarb, bok choy, asparagus, spinach, mustard & turnip greens, spinach & lettuce, spring onions & gralic, Alice’s Garden bath salts & herbs (chamomile, lovage, fennel, catmint, spearmint, pineapple mint, lemon balm, sage, oregano, hyssop, chives, and thyme), & more!
Starting June 20th–Fondy’s Opening Day Celebration & BBQ Cook-off, we will be open four day’s a week, and kicking off our first pop-up market at Schlitz Park June 25th! Until then, you can explore Fondy vendor’s offerings on Saturday mornings.
