Register today to join Amilinda and Fondy for Eat Local for the Holidays: A Cooking Demo & Social –designed to inspire easy holiday entertaining with local food from the Milwaukee Winter Farmers Market.
The evening will begin at 6 pm with a bried cooking demo in which Gregory Leon & Jen casey will share recipes and ideas for your holiday gatherings. Afterward, an evening of good food. sparkling wine, and socializing will ensue.
Owned and operated by Gregory and Orry Leon, Amilinda is one of Milwaukee’s favorite farm to table restaurants featuring Spanish and Portuguese inspired cuisine. Chef Greg’s cooking is influenced by his time spent living and cooking in places like Oklahoma, Venezuela, San Fransisco, & Spain. Jen is the Executive Director of Fondy and has a background in professional cooking, including having taught hundreds of cooking classes with an emphasis on using seasonal, local ingredients.
Tickets are $50 a person and include demo, appetizers, and a Cava sparkling wine toast. Wine, beer, & cocktails will be available for purchase.
Proceeds go to benefit the mission and programming of the Fondy Food Center.
